Tuscaloosa pastor killed in single-car wreck
Morgan was the pastor for Celebration Baptist Church, which holds services at the McDonald Hughes Center on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. He was the former pastor of New Destiny Baptist Church and Macedonia Baptist Church.
A Tuscaloosa pastor died in a single-vehicle crash in Tuscaloosa on Friday. Darren Keith Morgan, 46, died when his car crashed on Buttermilk Road at 11:15 p.m. Friday night. The vehicle exited the roadway, rolled down a hill and into a ditch. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
