Dothan man arrested after traffic crash sends 3 passengers to hospital

A Dothan man has been arrested on domestic violence charges after intentionally driving his vehicle into another, sending three people to the hospital. Authorities arrested Julius Anthony Roy, 28, of Headland for driving his vehicle into the victims vehicle, causing it to then knock through an apartment building on the 900 block of Grant Street. Police say three passengers in the victim's vehicle were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Roy is charged with three counts of attempted domestic violence 1st degree and three counts of attempted assault 1st degree. His bond is set at $300,000.

Headland man charged with intentionally causing car crash knocking car into apartment building

The charges stemmed from police responding to a traffic crash involving two vehicles and an apartment in the 900 block of Grant Street. Officers with the Dothan police traffic division investigated the crash and quickly learned the crash was the result of an ongoing domestic dispute. Investigators with the criminal investigation division (CID) took over the crash inquiry and charged Roy with intentionally driving his vehicle into the victim’s vehicle knocking it into an apartment on Grant Street. Three passengers in the victim’s vehicle were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
