Man, child killed; others injured in Geneva County wreck

According to the release, preliminary indications point to alcohol as a factor in the crash. According to a release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, A 1990 Chevrolet pickup driven by Weston Phillip Smith collided with a 2002 Honda Civic. The driver of the Civic, Jack William Mock, 30, of Opp; and a child passenger, 8-year-old Kenzly Lynn Moody of Samson were killed. A passenger in the pickup and another in the Honda also sustained injuries. Smith was transported to Southeast Alabama Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

3-vehicle wreck in Geneva Co. leaves 2 dead, 3 injured

A three-vehicle crash on Friday in Geneva County claimed the lives of two people and left three people injured, according to Alabama State Troopers. The driver of the Civic, identified as 30-year-old William Mock, and a juvenile passenger, identified as 8-year-old Kenzly Lynn Moody, were both killed in the wreck. Another passenger in the pickup was also injured in the wreck. A third passenger in the Civic was also injured in the wreck. Weston Phillip Smith, 19, was injured when the 1990 Chevrolet pickup he was driving collided head-on with a 2002 Honda Civic.

The crash occurred at 10:35 p.m. on Alabama 153 at the 2.5 mile marker, just over seven miles northwest of Samson. A passenger in the Chevrolet and another passenger in the Honda sustained injuries. The driver and a child passenger in the Honda were killed: Jack William Mock, 30, of Opp and Kenzly Lynn Moody, 8, of Samson. He was transported to Southeast Alabama Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

I am the older stepsister to Kenzly Lynn moody. I know it's a little late. The wreck took 3 lives and left 2 injured. Weston smith passed away Dec 1st. Please continue to pray for our family along with the smith family and the mock family.
