Bicyclist killed in Baldwin County hit-and-run, suspect apprehended

State troopers said the driver of the Dodge drove away from the crash, but was apprehended by Fairhope Police close to the Baldwin Square Shopping Center.

Jose Luis Alonso-De Leon, 36, of Silverhill, was charged with manslaughter, felony leaving the scene of an accident (with injury/death), and receiving stolen property. Police say they found a firearm in the truck that had been reported stolen.
