One of the vehicles had a total of four patients inside of it and they required fire crews to utilize their hydraulic extrication equipment to free them from the wreckage.

Police confirmed Saturday that a front-seat passenger, a 16-year-old girl, and another 16-year-old boy riding in one of the vehicles were pronounced dead at the hospital.

It was an emotional day at a West Valley high school Monday, following a deadly car crash last week.
Two students were killed and two others are in the hospital after the teens' vehicle was hit by a possible drunken driver Friday night in Glendale.
All of the victims were students at Betty Fairfax High School in Laveen.
"We told the kids to be strong, but if they feel like crying, they need to cry," said principal Phillip Wooley. "If they need to show their emotions, they can show their emotions."
