The Phoenix Police Department said the man was walking across Bell Road northbound in the cross walk against the "Don't Walk" signal, when he was hit by a 1993 Lincoln Mark 8.

One person was killed just after midnight Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 17, officials said.

A small passenger car and a large truck collided about 12:15 a.m. on southbound I-17 at Dixileta Road, according to the Department of Public Safety.
