Van crashes into house then catches fire in Maricopa County. No injuries reported.

A van crashed into a house in Phoenix Friday, starting a fire.

A spokesperson with the Phoenix Fire Department said people were inside the home near Seventh Street and Cinnabar when the van came crashing in, but luckily no one was hurt.

After first responders left, the van caught fire and they returned to put the flames out before it spread to the home.

The fire department said it is unclear what caused the van to go up in flames.

The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
