Police: Two killed in crash at 11th and Idaho
Around 4:31 a.m., the officers were called to a crash involving two vehicles in the area of 11th and Idaho avenues. Police said a Toyota Prius traveling eastbound on Idaho Avenue ran the stop sign at 11th Avenue in the path of a southbound GMC pickup truck.

It appears that the Toyota did not stop for the stop sign and was hit by the pickup, police said.
The Gomezes, who were in the Toyota, died at the scene.
