The two killed were riding in the Pontiac along with two others. Three people, including a boy, were in the Chevrolet, but he was not seriously hurt.

The Fresno County coroner’s office identified the brothers as 17-year-old Merrick Asher and 15-year-old Mason Asher. One boy was driving while the other was in the backseat when the driver of the Pontiac failed to stop at a stop sign on Henderson Road at Lincoln Avenue.
