Driver arrested for killing skateboarder in hit-and-run crash, Visalia police say

A 51-year-old driver was arrested after police say he hit and killed a person on a skateboard in Visalia, then drove away, on Thursday night.

Skateboarder killed while crossing street, hit-and-run suspect arrested

The investigation led officers to the home of Carlos Rivera, 51. While interviewing Rivera, officers said he admitted to being the driver involved in the deadly collision and also fleeing the scene.

Skateboarder killed in Visalia hit-and-run

51-year-old Carlos Rivera of Visalia was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Jail for Felony Hit and Run.
