The driver is described as an elderly man with gray hair who is clean shaven and was last seen wearing a short-sleeved shirt and slacks. A car matching the driver's vehicle description, a 2016 white four-door Mercedes model E-350, was found at an L.A. Fitness in Monterey Park and impounded for further investigation.

“Preliminary investigation revealed the suspect vehicle was traveling westbound on Camino Real Avenue when it struck a pedestrian walking westbound in the street,” Cieadlo said in a written statement.
