Pedestrian struck and killed on Interstate 5 in East Los Angeles, California

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed Friday on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in East Los Angeles. California Highway Patrol officers were called at 4:45 a.m. to the Ditman Avenue and Indiana Street exit near the southbound freeway where they found the victim, CHP Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.
