The LAPD report indicated that one vehicle, driven by a man in his 40’s, was traveling southbound on King Avenue, preparing to make a righthand turn onto Harry Bridges Boulevard when the driver of another vehicle crashed into the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Driver Killed in Wilmington Crash
The crash was reported at 7:20 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of West Harry Bridges Boulevard, according to Sgt. M. Nguyen of the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division.
The pickup truck was going westbound at a high rate of speed when it slammed into the other vehicle that was also headed westbound, Nguyen said.
