One person was killed in Montebello Friday in a crash involving a tanker and a truck, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 1 a.m. Friday on the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway at Garfield Avenue, California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi said. Stephen Lamb, 70, of Moreno Valley, was declared dead at the scene.
