The crash was reported at 4:14 a.m. at 261 W. Manchester Ave. between South Broadway and South Main Street, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

The victims were identified by family members as 35-year-old Janisha Harris and 38-year-old Jamarea Keyes.

The two were on their way home from work early Friday morning when a driver ran a red light at the intersection of Manchester Avenue and Broadway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

As detectives continue to investigate a deadly crash, two different families came together to mourn their loved ones.

Paramedics were sent to the 200 block of West Manchester Avenue about 4:15 a.m. Friday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
