Paris Camille Banks, who was homeless, was struck by a sedan about 12:30 a.m. at Tampa Avenue and Oxnard Street and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department.

The hit-and-run vehicle is believed to be a possible 2013-2018 Toyota Avalon silver sedan with damage to the front-end of the vehicle.
