Driver, 83, dies after crashing into a pole in Salinas
An 83-year-old man who suffered a medical problem while driving crashed his vehicle into a pole in Salinas Monday afternoon and died at the scene, police said.
An 83-year-old man who suffered a medical problem while driving and became unconcious, crashing his vehicle into a pole. He was reported dead at the scene. Police believe he might have died before the crash because he had only minor visible injuries and did not brake or steer to prevent the crash from happening. The accident remains under investigation.
