Father: 9-Year-Old Daughter "Died in My Arms" After Shooting Outside Home
No arrests had been reported Thursday morning. The Anaheim Police Officers Association is offering a $5,000 reward for information in the case.
Ximena Meza, 9, was struck and killed by unidentified gunfire in front of her Greenacre Avenue home in Anaheim, CA, Wednesday. After witnesses had heard three nearby gunshots, Ximena ran inside to her father, but had already been struck by a bullet and passed away inside her home. It is unknown whether the shots were crossfire or gang related but police are investigating.
