High-speed pursuit ends when car crashes into wall on Interstate 91 in Buena Park, California

A pursuit that topped speeds of 100 mph on the 91 Freeway ended in Buena Park when the vehicle crashed into wall, officials said. Firefighters worked for more than 30 minutes to get the driver out of the vehicle, Kurtz said. The driver lost control sometime after 2 a.m. and drove over the side of the the eastbound 91 Freeway at Knott Avenue before coming to rest against the sound wall, said Capt. Video from the scene showed the badly damaged silver vehicle on its side as crews tried to extricate the driver. There was no immediate information on when or why police began to pursue the vehicle.
