The driver, a man in his 20's, was arrrested for suspicion of DUI, according to Costa Mesa Police. "Our room was just filled with dust and debris, and I thought we were having a massive earthquake and the house was falling apart," the homeowner said. The homeowner said he didn't realize a car was involved until neighbors knocked on his door and he walked outside. The car crashed into the side of a house located at 1630 Myrtlewood Street in Costa Mesa at 1:48 a.m, police said. The couple and two young kids were inside the home at the time of the crash. The mother suffered minor injuries and went to the hospital. She returned home from the hospital just after 4:30 a.m.
