A suspected DUI driver was arrested after crashing into an Orange County home and killing a resident who was in bed inside early Sunday, officials said. A man was killed when the vehicle struck the Mission Viejo home just before 4 a.m., according to the Orange County Fire Authority. The man was in bed when the vehicle struck the home. The victim was pronounced dead on arrival, officials said. Two people inside the vehicle suffered minor injuries, officials said. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, authorities said. The passenger in the vehicle was detained by authorities but eventually released.
