Woman Sought in Hit-and-Run That Killed 57-Year-Old Father in Stanton

Police are looking for a hit-and-run run driver who struck a man and left him for dead on a crowded neighborhood street. Anyone with information about the female suspect is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff's Department at 714-647-7000.

Abbigail Lynn Landaas, 27, pleaded guilty last year[1] to a felony count of hit-and-run with permanent or serious injury.

Sheriff's deputies were seeking the public's help to find a woman believed to have struck and killed a 57-year-old father as he was getting home in Stanton Thursday night, authorities said. Rosendo Perez, a handyman, was fatally struck around 7 p.m. while he was crossing Cerritos Avenue near Sherrill Street to get to his apartment after he had just parked his truck, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
