Authorities said the driver of the Kia, 34-year-old Joshua Morris of Temecula, failed to apply the brakes as he approached the Ford from behind. The unidentified Winchester woman behind the wheel of the Ford was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center but later died of her injuries.
