Driver Killed in I-10 Crash Near Whitewater After Crashing Into Big Rig
The BMW’s driver, who wasn’t immediately identified, died at the scene. The passengers were a 32-year-old Hemet man, a 25-year-old San Jacinto woman, a 22-year-old San Jacinto man, a 22-year-old Hemet woman and a woman whose age and city were unknown.

One person is dead, and five are injured after a car crash early Friday morning in Palm Springs, California. The accident happened on I-10 around 2:20 a.m. on October 16, 2014 when two vehicles, both driving west, collided. The cause of the collision is not known. Two victims are in critical condition, one has moderate injuries, and two suffer minor injuries. The driver of the big rig has been identified as 55-year-old Felix Preciado of La Puente. He was not seriously hurt.
