21-year-old man died after crashing into a tree off of Peltier Road in San Joaquin County, California

A 21-year-old man is dead after crashing a car into a tree in San Joaquin County on Christmas morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP said officers and an ambulance responded to Peltier Road, west of I-5, at around 1:49 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash. They said the driver left the south roadway edge of Peltier Road before crashing into the tree.
