A woman and a baby were killed Thanksgiving night when their vehicle hit a bear on Highway 4 near Angels Camp, according to the Calaveras County coroner.

'The bear population is growing and I don't see it stopping. There are going to be more wrecks,' Calaveras Fish and Game Commissioner Ron Severud said to KCRA.
