Four injured in rear-end collision on Highway 88
Three women and one man were taken to area hospitals for various injuries after an accident on Highway 88 just north of East Harney Lane on Wednesday.
A flatbed truck was heading east on Highway 88 at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday when it stopped to make a left turn onto a private driveway. A PT Cruiser stopped behind the truck, and then a Jeep Cherokee traveling at about 50 miles an hour and rear-ended the PT Cruiser. None of the people involved in the accident suffered major injuries, he said. The driver of the pickup truck, a man in his late 50s, was uninjured.
