One person was killed another injured Tuesday afternoon in a three-vehicle accident in Roseville.
The incident occurred at 3:17 p.m. Roseville police and fire personnel responded to a call of a crash on southbound Foothills Boulevard at Chignahuapan Way.
The investigation revealed that the driver of a 1995 Chrysler sedan eastbound on Chignahuapan Way was attempting to make a left turn onto northbound Foothills Boulevard, when the car crossed in front of a 1996 Ford pick-up truck southbound on Foothills.
The truck broadsided the Chrysler, then crashed into a 2014 Kia Sedan, which was northbound on Foothills Boulevard.
The driver of the Chrysler, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released. The male driver of the Ford suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver and passenger of the Kia were not hurt.
“There were no signs that alcohol or other drugs played a role in this collision,” said a Roseville Police spokeswoman.
How can a lawyer help with an auto accident claim?
First, having a lawyer on your side levels the playing field. The person who caused the accident is required to immediately turn the case over to his or her insurance company. The insurance company uses adjusters and lawyers who are specifically trained to deny or reduce your claim. This may include denying compensation to family members who are entitled to receive benefits for loss of companionship. Learn more here about what a lawyer does in auto accident cases.
