A small private plane took off from a Bay Area airport and crashed Friday morning as it was approaching an airport near the border of Alameda and San Joaquin counties. The single-engine Cessna 150 crashed near Tracy Municipal Airport in Tracy, around 9:20 a.m., according to Federal Aviation Administration officials.
