2 injured in crash involving overturned gas tanker on Interstate 10 in Fontana, California

FONTANA: I-10E reopens, I-10W still closed 5-1/2 hours after crash

Two people were hurt during the 12:25 p.m. wreck along the westbound lanes of Interstate 10, shutting down the freeway between Citrus and Cherry Avenues. The tanker was carrying a full load of 8,600 gallons of gasoline, according to the California Highway Patrol. A man driving a Mitsubishi Galant veered to the right and hit the left front of the tanker, officers reported.
