Motorcyclist died, vehicle driver seriously injured following a collision at Palomar Street and Fourth Avenue in Chula Vista, California

Witnesses told officers the motorcyclist was traveling “far in excess of the speed limit” when he crashed into a vehicle that was turning near Fourth Avenue, police said. Officers and firefighters tried to save the rider, but he died at the scene.
