Pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle on Bonita Road in Chula Vista

A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle while walking in Chula Vista Wednesday night, according to police. Officers responded to the scene after receiving a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle around 7:50 p.m. on Bonita Road east of Interstate 805, Chula Vista police said in a news release.
