Driver died after crashing into a traffic signal at the intersection of Calle Cristobal and Caminor Ruiz in Mira Mesa, California

The man, who was not identified, was driving a 2018 Honda Fit hatchback east on Calle Cristobal shortly after 10:15 p.m. when he went through the intersection of Camino Ruiz and crashed into the traffic control signal, San Diego police said.
