A woman and a child were hit by a car in Bay Terraces Monday morning.
A woman and a child were hit by a car in Bay Terraces Monday morning.
The pair were walking on Paradise Valley Road near Deep Dell Road when they were struck about 7:10 a.m., San Diego police said.
Witnesses said the woman and the child were thrown onto the hood of the car and then up and over, police said. Both victims were hospitalized.
The driver of the vehicle stopped. Police are investigating and have not said what caused the crash.
Officers are conducting traffic control in the area.
