Construction worker killed when struck by vehicle on SR-94 in Spring Valley, California

CHP Officer Travis Garrow said the victim – identified, for now, only as a 41-year-old man employed by Granite Construction – was on foot, working in the No. 2 lane, which was closed off to traffic. Garrow said there was large equipment in the lane as crews conducted roadway maintenance.
