Driver survives horrific Mountain View crash

 A man suffered serious injuries early Tuesday in a horrific crash in Mountain View that ripped his car apart, authorities said. The 6:30 a.m. crash forced a section of Central Expressway in Mountain View to be closed for roughly seven hours. Officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a crash on Central Expressway between Bernardo and Mary avenues, police spokeswoman Shino Tanaka said. police spokeswoman Shino Tanaka said.
