Pinole: CHP investigates fatal hit-and-run on I-80
Many details about the fatality were not available immediately, but CHP Officer Eric Anderson said that a pedestrian was hit by a car on eastbound I-80 just west of the Pinole Valley Road exit.

Officers detained the driver, identified as Oakland resident Keri Cache, 31. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, causing the loss of life, felony hit and run causing the loss of life and driving with a suspended license, CHP officials said.
