13 hurt in truck-train crash in Northern California
The accident occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m. in San Bruno when the Caltrain hit a truck with a crane that was working on the transit system’s electrification project to switch to electric-powered engines, the transit agency told KNTV-TV.

None of the injuries are life-threatening, according to Caltrain spokesperson Dan Lieberman late Thursday afternoon.

Officials later said that there were actually two pieces of on-track equipment involved in the collision, one of them being a crane.
