Man in his 60's seriously injured, taken to hospital, after being struck by a private bus while walking at Seventh & Market streets in San Francisco.

A pedestrian was struck by a bus in San Francisco Sunday morning, a police spokesman said.

Officers and paramedics responded to a report of a crash involving a man in his 60s who had been hit by a private bus at Seventh and Market streets at about 8:10 a.m., San Francisco police spokesman Eric O’Neal said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that were potentially life threatening, O’Neal said.

The bus driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

The crash remains under investigation
