Pedestrian seriously hurt when struck by pickup truck in the Potrero Hill area of San Francisco, California

San Francisco police responded just before 6 p.m. to a report that a vehicle that had collided with a pedestrian at 25th and Utah streets between Potrero and San Bruno avenues, Officer Albie Esparza said.
A female pedestrian was walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of 25th and Utah streets, near Potrero and San Bruno avenues, when a pickup crashed into her. She sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to San Fransisco General Hospital. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. No names have been released.
