A mother and her young daughter have been taken to the hospital with serious injuries, after being hit by a car near the Stonestown Galleria Mall in San Francisco on Wednesday.

The mother was walking with her child in a westbound direction in the crosswalk of Buckingham Way. Meanwhile, an 86-year-old woman was driving a white SUV southbound on 20th Street.
A mother and daughter were crossing 20th and Buckingham Way in a crosswalk when they were struck by a Toyota Rav-4. The driver of the Toyota, and eldelry woman, remained at the scene. The two people were taken to a local hospital.
