Caltrans worker injured in possible DUI crash on I-280 in San Jose, driver arrested

Drunk driving might be to blame for a crash in San Jose that sent a Caltrans worker to the hospital.A Ford Mustang plowed into a street sweeper along southbound 280 around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.Highway patrol officers arrested the driver and says he appeared to be drunk.Three lanes were closed, just as fans headed home from the Sharks game, but reopened around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
