As of Thursday the wreck remained under investigation but Reed said that alcohol or drugs were not suspected to be a factor in the crash.

A 31-year-old man that was driving a pickup truck was headed west on Highway 84 when he crossed over the double-line into oncoming traffic and struck a pickup truck driven by a 55-year-old man. Some debris from the collision then struck a third car, driven by a 48-year-old man. Of the three drivers involved, only the 31-year-old man in the first pickup truck was injured, and he currently remains in critical condition. Check back for updates.
