Durango car crash kills 2, including well-known restaurateur
The Durango Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1LfNwzm ) that Colorado State Patrol says the Thursday collision killed the 82-year-old Hwaja "Grandma" Chung and 65-year-old Lynn Gheradini of Bayfield.
Capt. Adrian Driscoll says Chung was taking a left turn when she collided with Gheradini's pickup truck.
Chung ran a Durango restaurant from 1980 to 1988, cooked deli foods for Nature's Oasis in 2000 and later opened an Asian-style deli in Skyridge. She also prepared deli food for Durango Natural Foods.
