Bicyclist seriously injured in Collier crash
Reports show a man was driving a 2005 Chevy Aveo south along Collier Boulevard in the center lane when the driver of a silver vehicle swerved into his lane. The Chevy Aveo driver, 19-year-old James P. Isaac, of Naples, swerved to avoid the silver vehicle and struck the median.
The impact forced the Chevy Aveo right across the southbound lanes and onto the curb where a bicyclist was headed north along the sidewalk. The Chevy Aveo struck the bicyclist, who was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
