The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a home invasion robbery led to a police pursuit and ended with three suspects crashing in a front yard in Ortega Farms. Around 3 a.m. Friday, three male suspects forced their way into a home on Hurdia Road, just south of Morse Avenue on the Westside and pistol-whipped at least one person inside, according to Assistant Chief Chris Butler with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. "The police officers saw the vehicle around 118th street and Blanding Boulevard and the officers attempted to stop the vehicle with a traffic stop. That vehicle fled, which resulted in a brief pursuit," said Butler. Three JSO officers were involved in the pursuit.
