No other people were injured.
Hank Golden, 24, hit a pickup truck with his motorcycle around 8 p.m Friday night at the intersection of US-17 and the exit ramp of Interstate 295 in North Jacksonville. Police said Golden was observed driving at a high speed and smashed into the truck as the vehicle entered into the intersection. Golden was ejected from his motorcycle into the opposite lane of traffic, where he was hit by another vehicle. He was taken to UF Health in serious condition.
