George was on her way to work when she was hit about 5:45 a.m. in the crosswalk at the intersection of University Drive and Stirling Road, Sgt. Mark Leone, a spokesman for Davie police, said. Davie police are looking for a silver car, possibly a Nissan, with a broken right headlight, Leone said.
