Child Dies In Car Crash in Holmes County
An eleven-year-old boy is dead after a car crash in Holmes County Sunday night.
Sunday night at around 8:00 p.m., Brandon Nellums was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix eastbound on Bonifay Chipley Road near Tri County Airport Road.. While attempting to negotiate a right turn, his car lost traction and began to spin, then collided with an embankment and overturned. Two passengers, Tiffany Nellums, 17, and Isaac Nellums, 11, were ejected from the vehicle. Tiffany was brought to a hospital with serious injuries, while Isaac died.
