Fatal Hit and Run Crash Kills Local Man
According to Florida Highway Patrol officials, 48-year-old Michael Morgan of Panama City Beach was driving a Dodge Pickup west on Front Beach Road preparing to turn left on Allison Ave around 7:30 p.m. Monday.
James Dutton was driving his motorcycle east on Front Beach Road when he was struck by a pickup that fled the scene. Dutton was taken to Bay Medical Center where he died that night. The driver of the pickup was identified as 48-year-old Michael Morgan, and he was charged with a hit and run involving a death.
